Our church worship service includes many of the traditions that Christians have used throughout the ages.
All too often these days, people "do" church as if they were "do"ing lunch.
Our worship seeks to balance a reverence for the God we worship along with an involvement by individuals who worship in order to provide for a meaningful experience of worship.

The music used during worship is primarily traditional hymns from the Chalice Hymnal - a hymnal adopted by Disciples churches throughout North America and Canada. However, we are introducing some praise choruses as well. Special music for the anthem ranges from traditional to contemporary. During the seasons of Advent and Easter, special evening services are held. These services are organized around the meaning of those special times.
At our uniting Christian Church, we recognize the importance of communal worship as a time when fellow believers come together to be reminded of God's presence in our lives. In our service we come together to sing, pray, listen, and hear God's message to us.
