The Education Department
|
 | The purpose of this ministry is to develop an effective program of
religious education for the entire constituency of the Church in keeping with the general
objectives of Christian Education. It is responsible for planning and administering the
total educational program of the Church, including Church School, youth activities,
mid-week educational projects, leadership education, distribution pf Christian literature
and fostering Christian home life. It also cooperates with other groups in the church in
planning education programs. |

The Evangelism Department
|
 | The purpose of this ministry is to cultivate an evangelistic spirit with
the Church and plan and administer the evangelistic program. It is responsible for
developing an evangelistic Church, sponsoring a year-round program of evangelism which
reaches into every age level and every phase of Church life, compiling a list of
prospective members and planning and directing special evangelistic projects. |

The Membership Department
|
 | This ministry maintains the closest possible contact with the entire
Church membership to the end that each member may function effectively in the life of the
Church and to develop a spirit of camaraderie and love within the congregation founded on
a common love of Christ Jesus. Some of the specific responsibilities include planning and
implementing Church dinners, distributing new member packets, providing church
directories, and planning the All-Church Retreat. |

 | The purpose of this ministry is to
create and foster a world vision within the Church and its auxiliary organizations and to
lead in the planning and administering the world-work program of the Church. It is
responsible for planning and promoting a definite program of missionary education in the
Church; recommending the Church's annual missionary and benevolence budget; caring for
local and general benevolent needs; sponsoring interdenominational projects and promoting
conferences, conventions and retreats; and keeping records of missionary giving and action
of the Church. |

The Pastoral Care Department
|
 | This ministry oversees the membership, assisting in promoting
visitation projects; calling on the sick, the indifferent and unfortunate and organizing
others to do likewise. It also plans educational programs on dealing with pastoral care
issues facing individuals and families. |

The Stewardship Department
|
 | This ministry plans and directs within the Church a program of
stewardship, education, and enlistment, and it also directs the financial program of the
church that it will not only supply the financial needs but prove a means of spiritual
enrichment for everyone participating. They are responsible for keeping the congregation
alive in its stewardship obligation, supervising the preparation and subscribing of the
church budget, and encouraging special gifts for the future growth of the church. |

The Property Department
|
 | This ministry is responsible for keeping all property and equipment in
proper condition, studying needs and making recommendations for improvements, supervising
the work of the custodian, and caring for the grounds and keeping the properties
adequately insured against possible loss or damage. |

The Worship Department
|
 | This ministry is responsible for leading the membership in a genuine
experience of worship in the public services and to enrich personal and family devotional
life. It is responsible for the public worship in the Church, its pulpit supply, the
administration of baptism and the Lord's Supper, music, ushering, mid-week and special
prayer services, and the encouragement of the devotional life among the individual members
of the church. |
